Effect ive December 13, 2010, all payments made through INtax using a credit card will be charged a fee of $1 plus 2 percent per payment transaction. The credit card company that processes your payment assesses this fee, not the Indiana Department of Revenue. Indiana law requires that this fee be charged to the taxpayer, if he or she is making a payment by credit card. If you wish to avoid paying this fee, you may pay your tax bill using the ACH Debit option provided in INtax.
