MKR CPAs & Advisors’ Dan Kittell Named a 2026 Five Star Investment Professional
Indianapolis, IN – Daniel L. Kittell, CPA, Managing Partner of MKR CPAs & Advisors, has been named a 2026 Five Star Investment Professional, an honor that recognizes only a select group of financial services professionals in the Indianapolis market for their commitment to client service and professional excellence.
The Five Star award is based on an independent research process that evaluates professionals against objective criteria tied to client satisfaction, ethics, and quality of service, not self-nomination or advertising. This recognition places Dan among a small circle of Indianapolis-area professionals highlighted for consistently delivering results their clients can trust.
“I’m proud of this award for several reasons, but mostly because being recognized this way really reflects what our clients experience, not just what we as a firm say about ourselves,” Kittell said of the honor.
Dan has spent more than three decades building that reputation. A graduate of Indiana University with a B.S. in Accounting, he joined the firm (then known as Cadick Williams McAllister Ford) in 1992 as a staff accountant, was named partner in 2001, and has served as Managing Partner since January 2021. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of both the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Indiana CPA Society.
Throughout his career, Dan has focused on helping businesses in veterinary medicine, construction, and healthcare navigate tax planning, business consulting, and financial statement preparation, along with individual and estate planning services for clients across Central Indiana. Colleagues and clients alike point to his long-standing relationships, many going back nearly two decades, as proof that his approach is built on trust, not transactions.
Outside the office, Dan is an avid cyclist and fisherman who has been known to travel as far as remote parts of Canada in search of the next great catch, and he and his wife of more than 35 years enjoy traveling together, especially by cruise ship.
